Party Chat doesn't work, but everything else does?!? NAT settings are "Open" too

I recently purchased the Motorola Surfboard docsis 3.0 (SB6121) and the Apple Airport Extreme to replace my old Comcast router (which acted both as a router and modem) that they gave me. My Comcast service got boosted internet speeds and I wasn't getting
the appropriate speeds, hence the new products. Once they were installed I started getting the speed and connectivity that I wanted, but a couple weeks passed and I started having connectivity issues. My wifi signal would be off even though I live in a fairly
small apartment. Stupidly, I decided to unplug the Surfboard and replaced it with my old router just to see what would happen. Turns out it worked for a little bit (obviously with lower speeds), but I dealt with it.

Until a week or so ago, I decided to call up Comcast and renew my Surfboard and to make sure I was getting the appropriate speeds again. Took a little over an hour, but everything seemed to be working fine. I went on my Xbox to play Destiny and turns out
my Party Chat doesn't work anymore. Before the call to Comcast, my NAT settings were set at moderate, which was ok. But after talking to Comcast, my NAT settings were Open but every time I try doing a party chat with friends, I always get kicked out immediately.
It says something along the lines of due to limited connection, you won't be able to hear certain people or something like that. I can start a party chat fine, but the second someone tries joining it or if I try joining it, it gives me an error and an "X"
next to my gamertag.

This is the first time I've ever dealt with this issue with Party Chat. Everything seems to be working fine, I hear my friends fine in Fireteam chat, but the second I try starting/joining a Party Chat, it fails me. Any one seen, heard, or dealt with this
problem before?

(I went to the Microsoft Store in Bellevue Square and they told me to post on the forums so I'm not sure if I'm looking for a specific reply from someone, but just thought I'd throw that in here)

Party chat is working fine for me.

Yes we both had it Open. Ill have to try later and see if it was a Microsoft problem.

 

Your using an Apple router , xbox one is finicky on its own let alone trying to talk with an Apple .....I believe the airport has a " Allow Teredo tunnels" option in the utilities menu....also you will probably have to forward or trigger some ports.....I
would get a cheap netgear router with good UPNP and hard wire it for best performance and least problems....50 or 60 bucks...

 

Yeah I've definitely heard of that option and I'm currently trying to figure out how to open all my ports and to find the Teredo IP address. So far no luck...
