    Party chat disconnects when unsnapped.


    About two to three hours after my xbox has been on the party chat will disconnect if not permanently snapped. This has happened in the last few updates, but now is happening far more often. A hard reset is the only workaround. Please fix this.

    Xbox / microsoft fail

    The party chat only usually fails if someone in the party has NAT issues.

    For private chat you can snap the Skype app and use Skype. It even works unsnapped.

    Party Chat not working unsnapped

    I have exactly the same issue. When i hit the home button, party chat will disconnect and i have to leave and re-enter the party to get it working

    Amen! This is some major BS, I'm continuously losing my party immediately following an unsnap. Wtf, fix this extremely basic functionality, why do I pay for Gold if I can't talk to my friends. Stupid

    Usually there is no need to have the party chat window open while playing. You may just unsnap it. Whether with the Kinect voice command "xbox unsnap" or by going to the main dashboard window, having it unsnapped with the tile "unsnap" and then go back to
    the game.

    If experiencing problems that chat does not continue after unsnapping the party app, please try to first join and unsnap the party and then start the game.

    you can snap but can you hide the snap but still have music playing? I know if you snap for party chat - you can unsnap but still in party chat.
