    Nighthawk R6400- Cant get Teredo IP Address

    So... heres my current frustrating dilema.



    I have two Xbox consoles in my house. One is the first Gen xbox one and the second (main) is an Xbox one X.



    Here recently I have all of a sudden been unable to connect consistently to parties within xbox live using my Xbox one X.



    I will check my Xbox's network settings and look for the NAT type and it just says "getting info" and sits there. When I run the multiplayer test it says "cant get teredo address".



    My older xbox never has any issues and always shows "open" NAT.



    Things I have tried:



    Factory reset both Xbox's

    Factory reset Nighthawk router.

    Forwarded all xbox ports

    Enabled/disabled uPnP

    Gave xbox one x highest priority (QoS)

    Reset Alternate MAC on both Xboxs

    I see that my xbox is getting a public IP

    I check NAT type within a game and it shows open on my Xbox one X.



    Can someone please shed some light on this random issue that decided to show up out of no where...

    Its mostly been party chat disconnect for no reason.

    I had the same exact issue, I hated messing with the Teredo Address issue, unfortunately you need an Open NAT to be able to obtain the teredo address without issue, I suggest getting an easier gaming router or better ISP If you can't get it fixed.
