Party Chat Disconnected - Teredo/NAT

Having an on/off issue with XboxOne Party Chat. I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me. It's a Teredo/NAT Issue, I know. I've restarted both my router/xbox, got a new IP address, and opened all necessary ports in router settings. It work sometimes but
mostly doesn't. Please help!

This is even happening with my NAT Type is OPEN!!!

I have a Comcast Gateway, It's a modem/router.

Hi Vulture,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend trying the
multiplayer error solution for the teredo issue. IF that doesn't work you may want to contact your ISP (internet service provider).

I cleared my Alternate MAC in Advanced Settings last night and it worked....not sure if it'll stick though. Doubt it.

If not, I'm gonna try changing my network configuration to static. I heard that can help. If that fails, I heard putting your Xbox in DMZ Mode could fix it as well.

There doesn't seem to be a universal fix, so you just gotta try everything until it works.

I have exactly same problem.

And now one can help xbox and internet provider.

This is so funny.

I spend 1h to fix ghe issue with xbix suppor and at the end they send me link to this forum.pathetic.

I'm also having the same issue with NAT type being strict and getting the Teredo error. Whenever I attempt to join a party chat, it disconnects a few seconds later which I'm assuming is to do with this error.

My ISP is Virgin Media and the router I use is the "Super Hub"

If you can’t join or host an Xbox Live multiplayer game, or you can’t connect to a party chat session, press the
Start button, select Settings > Gaming >
Xbox Networking and check NAT type.

If it says Teredo is unable to qualify, your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address.

Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate connectivity between devices behind routers that use network address translation
(NAT).

Failure to obtain a Teredo IP address can occur when there’s an issue with your Teredo adapter, when a device on your network is blocking the Teredo protocol, or if there’s software installed on your PC
that’s disabling Teredo functionality. Without a Teredo IP address, you’ll be unable to use party chat or do multiplayer gaming on Xbox Live.
