Party Chat difficulties

My Friend and I have sped up, robot sounding voices in party chat. But only with each other. Other friends can hear us each fine through the party and we can both hear them fine. We've tried having others host the party and we both have open NAT types.
We also checked privacy settings and we are cleared to voice chat with anyone. Help please, I'm at a loss.

Xbox live parties laggy constant disconect from live, anyone else?

I keep getting disconnected from live and the party and game chat is just laggy as hell. I can hear everyone fine but people say I am laggy. But this never happens?? Anyone else experiencing difficulties?

Sorry to hear it. Can you and your friend please try power cycling your consoles by holding the power button on them for 10 seconds until they shut down? Hopefully that will help.

This game is supposed to make you feel isolated. It adds to the atmosphere and the difficulty. That is the reason there's not party chat.

Whether or not these co-op difficulties were intended, I don't know. But I think the game is better off with them.

That has to be one of the worst defenses for the lack of party chat Ive ever seen...

Is there any update as to why the Party system consistently fails? Several times a week we have issues getting into parties and/or chat working once we are in parties.

If they could do it so well 5 years ago on old software why are we having more difficulties on advanced software?
