Party chat constantly disconnecting error code 0x89231806

Just got a new router the other day, and it was working fine, until a couple days ago I started having the weirdest problem.

A couple seconds after joining certain friends games, the party chat will disconnect and give me the aforementioned error code. This only happens on certain games (Black Ops III, Ghost Recon Wildlands, maybe a few others), and its getting extremely frustrating.
Every other post I've seen says its my NAT type, but my NAT type has been open the whole time. I'm out of ideas. Someone please help.

Can not connect to parties

PARTY CHAT ERROR 0x89231806 PLEASE HELP

when i join a party from my xbox app on my pc i get this error message saying " your network settings are blocking party chat" (0x89231806)

 

Hey Noble Bobby,

If you do the following, is there any Change in your Situation afterwards?:

- Please press and hold down the white Xbox Button on the Console itself and hold it until it shuts off completely. After that unplug your Power wire for 1 minute. Replug and restart your Console

It might also help if you unplug the router for around 30 Seconds from power aswell. Let us know if that changed your Situation or not.

I've tried both of those several times, to no avail. I also just looked, and when it happens on Black ops, I also get the "Connection Interrupted" message, but I have all four bars when I look at the scoreboard.

If you do the Connection Tests in "Settings->All Settings->Network->Networksettings , for both Network and Multiplayer, are they showing any error?

No, it says everything is working

 

Do you have the Xbox Live Ports open? If not does it make any change if you do? Xbox One Network Ports | Xbox Live Network Ports

If it just started recently with that router and worked before, can you try it with a different router again? It might isnt a problem on the Xbox side, its maybe on the router´s side for some reason

Some of them aren't open, but I don't now how to open them while using UPnP, and i'm worried what turning UPnP off will do for the rest of my devices.

 

Okay. If the problem still exists i would try to clear the MAC adress in Settings->All Settings->Network->Networksettings->Advanced settings->Alternate MAC-Adress->Clear , furhter i would try if it all works with a different router. If it works with that
it might be best to contact the manufacture of the new model as it would be a settings problem in that case.
