Party Chat causes VOLUME DROP

Even after the Titanfall update, every time you start a party and invite someone the overall volume output drops. If you turn off party chat while in the party you can hear it get louder again. God **** how was that not fixed in the new update? It drops
volume to gaming headsets too. It seems to be the overall volume output of the whole system(excluding voice chat).

so will the option of being able to tune audio volume when using Kinect for chat will that still work for if your not using Kinect and using the headset in party chat? cause right now I'll go to party chat but cannot tune what volume the xbox feels like
turning the volume down to and to me the xbox turns the volume down way too much for me.

Party chat volume

very well indeed needed.. some people are too low.. some people are too loud and the only thing that we can do is mute them.. its so ridiculous

I remember being annoyed at this on the 360 too, everytime we spoke in the party the volume would drop on the game sound.

Currently there is a bug that is affecting users in different ways. For me, if I open a Party Chat, my tv volume drops down almost 10 notches. If I turn off Party Chat and use in game (while still in a party or not) my volume is fine.

It's weird. Microsoft is looking into at the moment. I'm sure they'll figure it out soon enough..

have you tried turning down mic sensitivity and party chat volume in the audio settings?

it's worth trying if you haven't already as that is the cause of most echo in headsets.

Hi There,

High volume may cause noise from the speakers to be picked up by the microphone. This creates a sound loop that gets louder and louder until you disconnect the headset. If this is the case try lowering your volume.

Can also be attributed to others in your party/chat room, they can also try the above if the cause was from them
