Party Chat broken for multiple people.

This is hard to explain but you know how sometimes person X can hear person Y, but person Y cannot hear person X? Well picture that but across multiple people and with no consistency. For example, in a party of four people, person 1 can hear all, person
2 cannot hear person 3, person 3 can only hear person 1, and person 4 cannot hear person 1. This has been happening for about two weeks now. The only solution is for everyone to hard restart their Xbox, but even that does not always work, hence why I am up
at 3:46am posting this.

To make matters worse, this is not the only issue I have encountered. Sometimes my headset will stop playing all audio and I have to unplug and plug it back in. However, if I just plug it in straight away, I am disconnected from party chat. In order to
fix that, I have to navigate to the Xbox party and then plug it back in. This happens the most on The Elder Scrolls Online and pandora running in the background, but it has happened on other games as well.

I cannot recall the other issues, but this all started when the update that added the Xbox Party Chat overlay. I am going to try and disable the overlay to see if that is causing all of this, but considering it is effecting multiple people that both do and
do not use it, I am not sure if it is the reason.

I am to the point where I am considering switching to a discord chat or something because my friends and I are losing our minds. If anyone knows anything, please share. Thank You.

PS. As far as I know, we all are on the launch versions of the Xbox One, if that makes a difference

The patch made things worse

Well me and my group continue to have multiple party chat issues and party invite issues (can't hear people in party chat can't join etc)

My mic is broke but I am able to hear people in party or game chat. I am also lvl 33
