Party chat blocked, error [0x8000FFFF] and some save content

After reading through this thread, I tried a shortcut to the "reinstall profile" option -- a helpful tip, executiive -- by simply signing out of my account and signing back in. And it worked. I'm not sure how long it will work for, or whether it will happen
again, but if it keeps working, then maybe signing out and back in is all it takes.

I notice this thread was started only a week ago... I have to wonder if this is the first time this error has been a widespread problem.

Not Working, help needed

I am having problems with my Xbox one. I can't use the party chat (says its blocked with error code 0x8000FFFF) and I can play games (says they need to connect to Xbox live) but I am connected to the internet as I can access my friends list. Also the store
gives error code 0x876c0001

 

If you're having the above issue then signing out and signing back in is definitely the way to go, even if you haven't changed your password recently.

solved my problem too, simply as that. thought it was because i changed region, bought some content, and i live in germany.

so how many times should we do this in future before they fix this?

 

Don't worry about it again unless you start having the issue. Then try it again. It may or may not happen again.

games and apps will not get past the loading stage. Does anybody have any real information on this issue besides the above generic solutions?

 

Signing out and in has worked for some , deleting your profile then downloading it back also has been known to fix some... what kind of isp , modem and router do you have ? Are you and your roommate using the same xbox one or is there 2 on the same network?

I'm having the same issues, party chat is blocked, it's saying I'm offline to my friends, and isn't getting past the loading screen in some games, not connecting to online services for black ops 3, etc… for the party chat I have error code 0x8000FFFF, and
when I try signing out and signing back in, it doesn't let me sign back in at all, just shoes the error codes (different one both times I tried) 0x87DD000F, and 0x87DD0017, does anyone have an actual working solution to any of this?

I too would like an answer. It's genuinely annoying me so much.

 

This is getting ridiculous. Where is the "support". Mine says I have connection. nat type went from open to moderate when I rebooted everything. No party chat i get the same code as mitch. all my statistics and connections work out great! ds is 39.71% ups
is 6.26 mbps packet loss is 1% MTU is 1480 latency is 87ms wireless strength is 100%. hard reset didnt work. i have called net gear and got them to remote access my network to make sure my nats were good. everything checked fine. I am running a netgear c3700
with wifi disabled hooked up to a netgear r7000 as access point. My brothers xbox is running great on cod right now having a grand ole time. this s**tbox is p*s**ng me off. haha. I just deleted my account from my xbox and then up loaded it again. still didnt
fix the party chat error code 0x8000FFFF. now my nat type is strict. awesome
