    Party chat and xbox heat issues


    Hey all,

    I am starting to lose my mind! Everytime I try to play a game. My xbox stops working right. When I hit the home button it takes about 10 to 15 seconds to bring up menu. My Party chat keeps cutting in and out and than disconnects me. My xbox seems to get
    pretty hot.

    I am in the alpha ring. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it but its making it hard to play games :'(

    Before you ask

    The xbox is in a open area. Its not even covered at all!

    My internet is 50/50.

    Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

    I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

    Error code: 0x89231806 Blocking Party chat

    I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
    system was released.

    My NAT = OPEN

    This is on the XBOX ONE

    0X89231806 your network settings are blocking party chat.

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

    Sorry to hear about your Party Chat issue. Is your DeadCrushader Gamertag the one having an issue with Party Chat? Party Chat is a feature of an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, so your free account would need to upgrade to take advantage of that feature.
