    I have a question, I’m not sure if it’s already been asked or not. I have tried looking it up to see but I couldn’t find anything.

    So I play a lot of games with my headset (I have an Alienware set) with a mic. I play a lot of COD and games like that so I’m listening for footsteps and whatnot.

    The downside to this is when I’m in a party, I either have to have my game play turned up (so I can hear over ppl talking, which defeats the purpose) or I have to turn my party chat up over my game play (which also defeats the purpose).

    My question is, is there a setting that can have game play in one ear and party chat in the other ear? And if it’s possible does anyone know how to set it or where to get this type of headset?

    I’m starting to not join parties so I can focus on my game, which sucks and is kinda boring lol.

    Party Chat WILL BE DISABLED

    You can party chat while playing the game.

    i just did this...

    you are forced into offline mode but you are able to both play the game and be in party chat.

    The party and game invite system sucks. You basically have to let the party do it for you. Which is lame. Party chat sucks also. If you're not playing the same game as someone else, party chat gets weird. It'll keep saying "Cannot connect to party chat".

    The teammates for the game isn't in a party, they are in a chat within the game. Some people I play with consistently play on playstation, of course others play on Xbox. The way the game is set up, if you are in a party through Xbox then the in game chat
    will not work. This is mainly due to the system trying to prioritize which chat shall receive priority.

    you sure your party leader isnt switching to game chat? you can still be in a party and play s&d but it forces you to be in game chat.
