Party audio suddenly really quiet

This is a recurring issue that I've had, where basically out of nowhere all audio from party chat will go to basically nothing - whilst all other audio remains the same - so I can just barely hear the others (you wouldn't hear it if you weren't trying).
I've tried so many things to try and fix this when it happens but the only way so far I've found is to just wait it out. clearing cache, restarting, trying different controllers just doesn't work.

I wish that was the problem - basically I'm in the party as normal, and without me touching anything, changing any settings, or muting anyone, the party volume goes to basically zero for no reason - the audio settings I normally use which are perfect are
still set to the same. Even after a reset the problem just doesn't go away

Sounds like its a software issue, which means its either your sound jack connection, or the xbox is prioritzing for you \

Thanks for the reply! I understand there is an issue with the Xbox one. I recommend trying a
power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out and let us know the results.
