    Party Audio Issue


    In Xbox party chat nobody can hear me, my mic symbol lights up indicating the mic works and I can hear everyone else. Once I switch to game chat I can be heard again it seems to only be the party chat affected. This started actually with the opposite when in game chat I couldn't hear my squad so I reset the xbox (held down power) and it seemed to fix it. But now this **** has started, I've looked at all the trouble shooting, everything is set up right, nothing needs updating, I'd assume a mic issue but game chat works so Xbox must be messing something up shocking I know.

    Anyone know what to do?

    So they can hear you in-game chat but not party chat... odd. Please go in Settings > Account > Privacy and Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy > View Details and Customize > Game Content > Check that your microphone is enabled and make sure "Sharing Audio Outside Of Xbox Live" is set to Allow.

    Make sure your audio input and output are assigned to the audio device you want to use for party chat. In the Party widget, select the Party options … button and then choose Party audio. Under Audio output and Audio input, choose your audio device from the selection dropdown.

    Hi there,

    I think in Party settings or (in the guide) Settings > Audio (not 100% sure this is the exact path, but it's around there) there should be a Mixer to control a mix of Party audio and Game audio. If you can hear your party, it's going to be a volume issue.

    maybe some Settings for Audio, Party Chat and or Changed the Output to HDMi or something else. Check the Audio Settings on Xbox and the Party+ Output Settings. i also had such an issue and it was the HDMI Audio Setting for me.
