Party App not working

Yesterday on May 3 I was able to join and start parties without an issue. Today I get on and there's a system update so I download and install like usual. After a few games of playing alone I get a party invite to join my friends and the party app won't
connect me. It opens but where it says "start a party" there is the connection circle. No matter how many times I open and force close the app it won't connect. I checked my network and multiplayer connections and both say I'm connected. I've tried turning
my console off and resetting it but nothing is working.

I have a different problem with the party app. Me and my friend joined a party and it said he was connecting and then we left the party and then it had an x on his name when we came back to the party and we couldn't hear each other, then now it won't even
let him invite me to the party.

I don't have an answer unfortunately, but I am experiencing the same problem as you. It just started about an hour and a half ago. The status page status that "social & gaming" features are limited, so I'm hoping that that's the reason why and it's fixed
soon.

 

Same here 2 days now,it could be the may update but don't now for sure.
