    I had 77 friends online and now it shows 0 friends online and every time I try to join a party everybody is muted off the bat when I get somebody unmuted the system mutes them again and it says the sorry but voice chat and party chat is out or something
    like that is not working at the moment and it gives me a whole error code and everything and I was seeing if any of y'all might know what to do to fix this I tried getting ahold of Microsoft but they are closed and there virtual agent is just a questionnaire
    thing I don't see any server down messages so Imclueless I've been going at it for the past few hours

    Party Chat Network Blocking Issue

    HI ShadowRanger248, Sorry to hear your experiencing this issue.

    We have received reports regarding this issue and it may mean that the Internet connection between your Xbox console and the other party members is failing. This often happens because of incompatible Network Address Translation (NAT) types.

    I don't have quick solution to this issue but the developers are aware of this issue and investigating. What would be of great help is if you could report this issue via Xbox App Beta using the "report a problem" so we can forward your info to the developers
    to help with the on-going investigation.

    Some users have also shared some tips that seem to help some users, try it out and let us know if it helped or not.

    Go into network settings on your xbox one in the network settings menu find "Go Offline". Select go offline and allow it to shut down your network settings, wait about 30 seconds and then click "Go Online". This refreshes ALL your network settings giving
    you a fresh connection. Restart your xbox if necessary and then try connecting to a party! If you had the same issue as me, it should work,,

    Sorry to hear the issue is persisting! The cross on party chat is an indication that there is indeed network limitations. My first recommendation is to try connecting to party chat on a different network to see if this is true.

    If you have a friend or family member's network you can try, that will really help us narrow down the issue. If it works on a different network, you may want to try a standalone modem and a standalone router that are guaranteed to work without known issues
    rather than a gateway.

    Me and my buddy are on the same wireless network and played earlier in a party. No issues here.
