Party and game invite issues.

I'm having an issue with party and game invites but it is only when my friend xbox is on my network. I own 2 xboxes his is the home xbox and when he is home we have no issues. Typically on the weekends though he comes over and we set up 2 TVs and have a few drinks and game for the night. When he is here and we get invited to games or parties his xbox is the only one to get the prompt. I get them on my phone but nothing comes through to my xbox at all. I have all my ports forwarded. UPNP is on just incase. His xbox has a static IP and the teredo servers are forwarded separately to each xbox.

Anyone have a solution to this? It becomes a pain trying to get things going when party member have to change their security settings so I can join on them because the invite system doesn't work properly when he is here.

That solved my party invite issue but my game invites aren't sending.

Hey Friend! My names Keyonna and I am an Xbox Ambassador and I'll be glad to help you out!

Here are a couple things you could do:

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button until you see 3 options. If you see the 3 options, go to restart console. This will not clean any data out at all.

Try again and see if that resloved the issue.

If that doesn't work, please follow these steps to factory reset while keeping all games and apps. This requires your account login after the reset is done because this will remove almost everything:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
3. Select Reset console.
4. On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps.
5. After you select "Reset and keep my games and apps" Your Xbox console will begin the process of erasing the selected content and resetting itself to the default settings.

Clean the MAC from both consoles and test again.

Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.

Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear.

If the same happens, could you put your console IP in your modem's DMZ zone?

I'm sorry to see any issues with receiving game/party invites. We've seen a few people complaining about this, particularly Destiny players. I see on your public profile that you are a connoisseur of the game, so it's likely you're running into the similar
issues.

One thing I've noticed with others is that they are having issues with xbox.com messaging. If you log into several browsers for Xbox Live messages, do you receive any errors or just not loading messages? I'm trying to see if they might be related.

If you can load your messages just fine, can you post back with your detailed network statistics? You can get these by going to Settings > All settings > Network > Network settings > Detailed network statistics. I want to ensure there's
nothing there that could be blocking this.

Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
when I get home, fingers crossed.
