Party and Chat Headset - friends can hear me but i can't hear my friends

So, this is my problem for about a week now. I had the problem in the last days before the update and i still have it after the last update (yesterday for me). I can join a party or invite other people, when using the chat headset i can't hear anybody:

• party chat is on
• i have a green light when speaking, friends also have a green light when speaking
  
• they hear me perfectly, i can't hear anybody speaking
• using the kinect chat works
• all other sounds work without problems
• controller was updated while headset was plugged in
• when plugged in, the mute button can be activated (orange light) or deactivated (no light)
  
• when plugged in, I HAVE NO BEEP-SOUND FOR REACHING THE MAXIMUM LOUDNESS

I guess the last point is the most important. Maybe my headset is suddenly broken? (Nothing special happened). I dont have another one to check it out. Can somebody give me advice? Thx a lot.

Microphones on both of my headsets not working since this week's update

I can't hear anybody through my TB XO One headset, but they can hear me. Game chat is fine, but in party chat it doesn't work. It shows me speaking when I speak, and my friends tell me they can hear me, and if I unplug the headset, I can hear people speaking
through the TV speakers.

The fact that game chat still works proves that it's Microsoft's software, not my headset, adapter, Xbox or controller.

 

Xbox One Stereo Headset Mic Not Working for Party Chat

I can't chat in party or game with oem chat headset and i recently purchased the headset adapter and the official xbox stereo headset, same problem. I can hear people in party and game chat, yet they can't hear me.

My controller is updated.

I first had this issue during the titanfall beta...in a match, everything's good, i can hear friends and they can hear me, out of the blue they can't hear me anymore. Hasn't worked since.

I've tried everything, no effect. My new controller arrives today. maybe it's a controller issue. I'll let everyone know.

I was preview program as well.

 

I recommend contacting Microsoft and they will replace if still under warranty .

 

This exact thing g happened to me. I have replaced the headset and even bought a third party headset but I still have no party chat.i use it for destiny and can hear fire team chat but only if I set it to mix between headphones and tv. The headset is a
microphone only now. Did you find a solution?

 

I can't hear anybody through my headset, i cannot receive messages and i cannot send them. My controller turns off every 5 minutes for some reason. Also, yesterday when i finally got my much awaited XBOX One, i had to wait until 1am before i could play anything
on it. So yeah, wonderful christmas for me...
