Parties *** suck

I don't have these problems. Maybe if you could explain a little about the exact issue you are having and what you have tried to resolve it someone here may be able to offer some viable suggestions. Happy Gaming!

I feel the entire problem with party chat is the default settings. When somebody starts a party, it is automatically private. Most people don't even pay attention to that because they are already talking to their friends. Most people are not starting parties
for privacy reasons. Most people start them because its easier to connect with their friends. I bet if the party system was set up with the option for public or private in game chat when you create the party, you would hear many more people talking in games
and games besides Halo, Gears and COD would be able to establish communities instead of being dead in a month or two because you can't meet really meet somebody already in a party.

[/quote]Most of this is either Opinion or just plain assumptions with no basis. When I start a Party it is to talk with my Friends and my Friends only. If a User does not "pay attention" to such a simple thing as Party Chat being
Launched in Private, maybe an Online Game/s all together are too complicated?

So again, you have no way of knowing "why" "most" people start a Party, that's all assumption on your behalf and nothing more. I bet if the Party Chat was set at Default to Public, I for one would complain there should be at least an Option to Launch it at
the Users End discretion (Public/ Private).

But this all goes back to what now, 3 years? You're still "blaming" Party Chat when it was the d-bags that took over Game Chat. You never will admit it was those Players, will you? If it wasn't for them (the d-bags) I would be willing to "assume" many more
people would go back to Game Chat.

Party Chat doesn't default to private (which is really an "invite only" setting). The default is that anyone on your FL, or friends of friends, can jump in. You have to manually set parties to invite only.

Ahh Party chat yes. A "Service" that if I recall correctly, used to be called
teamspeak over ten years ago that you could use on any PC, and it was free. And strangley enough you could use it via a Microsoft operating system..
