Parties not working while gamesharing Xbox Live Gold

I also want to add some misconceptions regarding 'gamesharing' just to be sure that people who read this will know what is and isn't allowed.

The intended use of the Home console setting is on the person's primary console so that for example family members in the household can benefit the games and gold features too.

Things that for example are Not allowed are: Using somebody else their account on a console, or transferring licenses from an account you do not own or have created to the console. For more information on this see: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-us/home/staysafe#topic4

Aside from re-checking your settings for audio formalities and to make sure you have all of your communication settings to On, it's more important that you are not gamesharing with friends from another household, so just be careful you are not doing that.
Please understand that gamesharing and setting another console as your Home console in order to allow someone else to access your games etc, is meant for family within the same house. If you're sharing your Home xbox in another way, for instance with friends
just so you can play each others games, and they are in another house, town, city or state/country, you are running a risk to get your account banned as this is against Microsoft ToS.

Now, I'm unsure if you actually read my post, as I mentioned previously I have repeatedly checked my settings because that's the only piece of advice I've been given by anyone on any sort of forum to try to fix it. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe since I am only getting xbox live gold through gameshare It doesn't work, but that just doesn't really make sense because it worked prior to a week or two ago while I also only had gameshared xbox live gold.

Im not sure how many switches my friend has but I’m certain its around 1-3 switches left. I have 4 switches left on my account.
