    Came back from vacation today to find out that the party seems to not work again? Clicking mute an swich to game chat along side my voice unable to get picked up by the party ? In alpha skip ahead! Is this happening with anyone else? Note: I've reset the xbox 5 different times an reset the head set just incase it was that. Still nothin ... please help!

    I'm xbox yes and my NAT type is on open but yet the issue remains I'm afraid.

    i am having the same problem. both mine NAT and my friends NAT are open but it still won't let us turn on chat. its getting very annoying.

    Hi there, try this tip and let me know how it works:

    1) Via dashboard, Snap the "Party" app.

    2) Select Start Your Own Party

    3) By default you aren't technically in the party since there are no longer any party leaders.

    4) To enable the chat once someone is in it select the option, "Turn on party chat"

    5) You should now be able to hear each other.

    6) By default, your party is set to private. To switch this hit the button that used to be the start button, then select "Set to joinable". Your party is now open. This is how you toggle party status.

    My name is welcome to the community.

    Hello ZappyMZS, are you playing on pc or console if it is in the console have tried to check your nat type?

    If your NAT isn't open, it can limit your gaming experience and also talk to friends in party chats.

    Test the NAT Xbox One

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Click Profile and system > Settings > General > Network Settings.

    Under Current network status, the NAT Type field displays the current NAT type.
