Parties are blocked and cant play online games

Discus and support Parties are blocked and cant play online games in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I am having troubles with my Xbox connecting to parties and i cant play any online games.     I am having troubles with my Xbox connecting to parties and i cant play any online games. I hope this gets fixed. Error code : 0x800710da

    Having the same problem. I can sign in and play online games, just cant send messages or join parties, wtf?

    cant play online games

    I can sign into xbox live, but I can't view friends or recent players or play online games. In the dashboard it says I have xbox live gold.

    When I go to join a party it says "Xbox live parties are blocked" and that the settings need to be changed, but when I go to change the settings it says parties are available to everyone.

    Having a silver account blocks you from joining parties? I wasn't aware that that was a limitation of a silver account - I assumed Gold was really only for playing games online and several special benefits/discounts... But parties? Really!?

    ...that's just stupid! :|
