    Hi everyone, a few posts ago, I wrote about a random console shutdown problem. I have seen that other people have the same problem, (and maybe it can help microsoft) reinstalling the OSU1 firmware from USB has partially solved the problem. Now I can play all games without a console crash (for now ) the only thing left is the return to the dashboard that turns the console off (and not always). I think it's 99% firmware issue at this point because I didn't have any issues while playing the game. If it helps, try this procedure.

    Xbox One turns on automatically every time I receive a message. More details inside!

    You could set the option for the console to shutdown after an hour and also have background downloads enabled. This will mean the console will power off partially, still showing the white light on the power unit but continue to download the requested file
    until fully complete. Once downloaded the console will then shutdown fully showing the orange light on the power unit.

    In effect i think it's normal the controller blinks some times after a full shutdown but in my case when the described issue occurs the controller continues to blink during about 2 or 3 minutes after shutdown and i do not think it's normal.

    But the main trouble is the random reboot or random full shutdown when i put xbox in sleep mode. This should not happen because the instant start-up is selected in the settings...
    Mine is doing the same. Did you ever find a solution? I've opened a service case ...

    I've heard of this problem before, you can try: hard shutdown restart on your console, or checking your time zone. If your time zone is correct, try changing it to a random one and restarting your console.
