Partial HDR support for LG TV?

I have an LG 60UF7300 and it has an option for Deep Colour (10-bit colour) and Wide Colour Gamut, both of which are components that make up HDR, AFAIK. According to Xbox website, and every LG-related article I can find, if the TV supports those, you can
    use them.

On the Xbox, it shows partial HDR support for video, and no support for games... However these seem to be inconsistent if I restart the TV, sometimes it will show no support at all for video, sometimes it will say it stopped supporting 4K@24Hz (normally that
    is supported).

I do have an AV receiver between my Xbox and TV (for Atmos). It is a Marantz SR5011, and supports HDR passthrough (including deep colour and wide gamut). I have not yet tried bypassing it, is thrre any way to do this without losing Atmos?

Anything else I can try to get this working? I'm reading that a lot if games support deep color (10-bit) and wide gamut, so it would be great to see that, since my TV supports it.

    :)

  3. Xbox One S 4K TV Compatibility

I Have a 2015 LG 55UB8500 UHD 4K TV wondering if the HDR on the One S will work with it, it works on the Netflix TV app but they support both HDR standards I heard LG uses Dolby Vision and Xbox has announced support for HDR10 will I run into issues
using HDR on the new Xbox. I'm also waiting for a response from LG to let me know what standard my TV supports to verify.

Partial HDR support for LG TV?

You could get an HD Fury AVR Key, it extracts the HDMI audio to send to a receiver and let's the video pass-through untouched. It's $150 bucks though, i had to get one since my Marantz SR7009 doesn't support HDCP2.2, but it supports Dolby Atmos and i didn't
feel like spending a couple grand on a new receiver that does not have much more capabilities than the one i have other than HDCP2.2 support. So this little AVR Key was worth it, other than I'm having major problems with Dolby Atmos working with my receiver
with either an original Xbox One or Xbox One X. I looks like it works getting an Atmos signal but it just output total distorted crackling sounds.

Good luck getting it to work, trying to get all video and audio capabilities working together these days without buying new equipment every year is seeming like its almost impossible.

I tried connecting the Xbox directly to the TV with the included cable, same results. So it's not the receiver.

Deep Color and Wide Color Gamut are enabled on the TV, aspect ratio is at Just Scan, every else is set according to what the Xbox calibration tool recommends. TV picture mode is set to ISF Expert1, which is needed to unlock most options suggested by the
    calibration tool.

Anything else I should check? There's no HDMI enhanced, or anything like that. Just HDMI Deep Color. AFAIK that's all the LGs need.

The Xbox One S and my tv

    Hi

Having a quick look on the LG web site it does not appear that this TV supports HDR however it should still be able to play 4K content but without HDR element of it.
