Part chat not working?

Ok so this is the problem, I have my mic plugged in, everything is connected perfectly, I'm using Astro A40's, I can hear everyone in party chat absolutely fine, the little orange circle is lighting up when I talk but my friends in party chat can't hear
me. I've hard reset about 5 times, reset my router, everything. What is going on?

One of the outstanding strengths of the Xbox is its established community and as a result the on-line friends that have been cultervated during the 360 period. I for one purchased my Xbox One because I wanted to maintain those Friendships.

The main issue following launch has been a failure by myself and Friends to turn party chat on - we continually receive the same statement that the option is not available and to try later (hours pass and no joy on trying to get it working). Please note
as far as I am aware all members of the party have an open NAT so this not the issue.

I note tha this becoming a well reported problem across the community and one which could clearly damage Xbox's competitive advantage and some assurance that this will be rectified quickly will help to minimise the potential fall out - some of my Friends who
have yet to purchase are rethinking which system because why get xbox if you cannot play games together like before.

You dislike people being annoying, so you use Party Chat, which in turn kills the communication...

Yeah, I'm not seeing the part where Party Chat didn't kill communication ; )

Can you please confirm that you haven't been given a communications ban?

If not, is your NAT type open? You can check in Settings > Network.

 

I did have one but it expired on the 21st of October.

Also where it says 'Case Review Status' it is currently blank. Does this mean I'm still banned? The process is very vague tbh, I wasn't given a date on my Xbox ONE but on my Xbox 360 it said I had been banned from communications until 21/10/2015.

 

Hi, since we now know you've recently had a communications ban, it's possible that you're being affected by a glitch in the system which stops recently banned players from being able to communicate after their ban has been lifted.

The enforcement team are working on a fix.
