    Parents Microsoft Account isnt valid


    My son is trying to login into XBOX Live

    He gets an error message saying

    Your parents Microsoft account isn't valid. your parent needs to chose a different account to manage your xbox profile.

    when I go through the process it says XBOX live sign up isn't currently available.

    SO now I have paid for an xbox live subscription but cant use it.

    any ideas on how I can resolve?

    But they can validate me? Isnt that enough to prove i am her son? Whoever has controll over the parental account has acces to our card details and personal information. Thats really quite poor if Microsoft cannot help me with this.

    Here's the exact message, "Your parent's Microsoft account isn't valid. Your parent needs to choose a different account to manage your Xbox profile." It gives me 2 options, "Change Parent Microsoft Account" or "Play offline".
