    Hello.

    I bought used Xbox 360 E and everything is ok, but there is set a parental password. I tried almost every code which had to help me reset my xbox to factory settings, but nothing happend. Can you guys advise me something about that? Helpline in my country is
    already closed, so I will call them tomorrow, unless you guys can do something about that. My dashboard 2.0.17349.0. If you have any codes to resert xbox or any other ways to do that please help!

    yes reset your parental password not your windows live id password

    reset it at login.live.com

    My son did an update on his x box live and when he tried to log back in he was unable to get past parental sign in. The issue being that we started this account several years ago and I no longer use that e-mail or know the password. I have tried several
    passwords and don't know what it is. I would like to get past this but they want the credit card last four digits but I don't know which one I used and it is highly likely I no longer have that card. I want to know how to get passed this as my son knows his
    e-mail and his window live gamer tag but still unable to get this solved even though I gave my home phone and address as well. Please help me get this resolved. His gamer tag is westranrules. Thanks for any help that would be available. Heather

    To reset the passcode you will need to contact support directly. 1-800-469-9269 for US & Canada . Or you can chat with them here

    Hello,

    Yes you must contact support so they can give you a special code to unlock.

    There are many places that report being able to do it themselves :
    www.xboxrepairservice.com/parentalcontrol.html

    Apparently each console is unique and will have its on unique sequence code.

    I figured out why my text looks weird. It's because I copied and pasted, I believe that is why. I typed that up in a "text document", copy/paste. It was easy to do it that way for me, but i'm sorry it looks choppy.

    This thread is quite a bit older I'm afraid. If the set age of the your account was under 18 when it was created a parent account would have been needed in order to finish the sign up. I would check with your parent or guardian to see if they may remember
    the account they used.
