  1. Parental issues, account issues, issues everywhere

In curiosity I removed my account, (Child account) from the family, in hopes to remove the parental controls, in doing so when I try to sign in, it prompts me with "Your parent's Microsoft account isn't valid. Your parent needs to choose a different acount
to manage your Xbox profile. For more info, visit
    www.xbox.com/fixd."
First, I only recive a "Page Not Found" error upon visiting said suggested page, second, my parent's account wasn't changed in any way. So I selected Change Parental Microsoft Account. When I did my mom changed it to my dad's email,
which started a "Xbox Live Signup is unavalible." every time we tried. I've spent hours upon days trying to fix it with no lead. We tried changing the parent's account in settings which did the same thing, and I cannot find a way to ad my account back to the
family. When I sign in on the website I can't view my account or profile because it says "I found a glitch in the system". Thus far I am very displeased I spent $25 on Gold membership only to not be able use it for more than a week now.

    :)

  3. Parental Account Issues

Parental passwords can only be reset by the guardian or carer of the Account owner, I doubt there is any way around this security feature as it has been implemented by Xbox to prevent unauthorized usage and/or unwanted activity. if you login via outlook.com
the direct to xbox.com check under setting and/or security, there should be settings related to parentel controls there, if this doesn't help I would reccomend contacting support.

Looks like you found out what happens when you try to tamper with the parental controls. Sorry to hear it.

Please have your parents try the steps at the link below to re-add their account as your parental one.

If that doesn't work then they will need to contact phone support for more assistance in trying to re-add your account. 1-800-469-9269 in North America.

  5. Thanks for the help, Onyx. My dad and I followed the support article, but with no avail. It still says his account isn't valid when I try to sign in.

My parents would gladly have their password reset. if it were possible.

I have already contacted support, and the best they could do was refer me to the form Vibroplex linked above, which didn't have enough information to be approved. (We really didn't have anything because the email it 5 years old, however we did have C Card
info, but that obviously wasn't enough.)
