Parental controls Playing up

Hi there guys,

I’m having some problems with my parental settings on xbox one.

I’m 16 years of age but my account was set up years and years ago when i was younger so my parents had filters on age restricted games. For the last couple years my restrictions have been lifted because my parents don’t care anymore so I’ve been playing
games like Rainbow 6 Siege, Call of duty MW and GTA V but recently whenever I try opening up these titles I get a message come up instead saying that I don’t have parental permission to open this game/app and tells me to get a parent to log in with their password
to unlock it, following this it just displays a loading screen seemingly indefinitely. I have got my dad to check his parental settings and it says that he has no restrictions on, so it seems like nothing’s changed on his end so I don’t know what’s caused
this all of a sudden. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

Sorry to hear of your issue. Have you tried accessing your restrictions page in the account settings section of your microsoft profile on the Microsoft Website?

You could try to get your parents to log in over the browser and remove your restrictions through the website directly rather than through the console.

See thats the problem, on the restrictions page it says that I don't have any restrictions on but clearly my xbox is saying otherwise :/ I've contacted the microsoft team and they're working on it so we'll see haha,

I'm not sure where you got this from, but getting a report of how much time a game has been played is not a feature of a Gold membership. Each individual game may have a stat for time played, but that's up to the game maker if they want to include that,
not Xbox Live.

Try resetting your motem and if that doesn't work I would probably change your settings to factory settings. Also, this happens sometimes because of Parental Controls. If your parents set up parental controls that only allow you to play for certain amounts
of time that might also be the issue.
