Parental control and customer support

Hi there! So i recently bought a used Xbox 360 that has parental control still enabled and I don't know the code.

I tried to reach the customer support but to be able to chat with them you need to type in your name, which I for some reasons can't

as the fields are all grey and I can't select them. Does anybody know what to do?

For a heads-up though, removing the pass code of your Xbox 360 console requires for your system to get registered online first. You can do this by registering your Xbox 360's serial number via:
http://myservice.xbox.com. Once registered, the Xbox Tech Support would check your console's serial number using their tool and provide you the sequence to reset your passcode including the 4 digit. This
can be done by going to: SETTINGS > SYSTEM > CONSOLE SETTINGS > SYSTEM INFO. The page of the System Info where it shows your serial number is where you will need to perform the sequence. (TAKE NOTE: In case you hit the wrong button while doing the sequence,
you will need to go back from the System Info page then go back in and redo the sequence). Once inside the SYSTEM INFO, these are the sequence that you will need to perform: LEFT TRIGGER > RIGHT TRIGGER > X BUTTON > Y BUTTON > LEFT BUMPER > RIGHT BUMPER >
plus the 4 digit passcode that the Tech Support would provide you.

 

That phone number is for the U.S./Canada only.Not everyone lives in the U.S. or Canada which is why I provided the correct link so the op can get the correct phone number for their region.

 

Oh okay. I thought that those who post here are only from the US and Canada because the region that I can see at the bottom of the website is set to US. I thought that that affects this forum.

 

The region is different depending on where you are from.
