You can create a passkey.

A passkey helps to prevent unapproved charges. You can choose to require a passkey to make any purchase on Xbox Live. Setting a passkey helps prevent children from making unapproved purchases.

How to create your passkey

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account.
3. Select Sign-in, security & passkey.
4. Select Create my passkey.
5. Enter a 6-digit passkey, and then re-enter the passkey to confirm.

Your passkey has now been set.

Somewhere in the security settings, I believe, you can put a passkey on virtually anything. The pass key consists of a combination of buttons on the controller. The menu for it has the buttons and a number assigned to it to make it easy to remember. That's
how I have my account locked down, even though I don't have kids I'm still paranoid.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. Is your child using your Microsoft account to play on the console, or do they have their own child account?

If they're using your Microsoft account to play, then I recommend setting up a passkey on your account to prevent any unauthorized charges from being accrued. The steps to set this up are detailed in this support article:

However, if your child has their own account, then in order to manage the privacy settings of a child account, you will have to add them to the family under your adult account first :
Add members to your Microsoft family.
You will need to add this child account to an adult accounts family. you can then follow the instructions on this link to manage the child account's privacy settings :

exactly a person who is 65 can vote because they are a concenting adult lol. and they have a legal stance to claim discimination. under the age of 18 your a ward of your parents ...or in your case the nearest juvinal hall. and have no right to claim discrimination
