    Am i screwed? Terms of Use

    So when i first made an xbox live account, i had to make a parental account. I used my main email for my xbox live account and my secondary email for the parental account. Everything had been thing, 5 years passed and then the new Terms of Use required me
    to enter my parental password. I usually use the same 3/4 password for everything, but none of them are working. I've tried hundreds of variations but no luck. The security question could be anything so that's no help either.

    The real problem is that i think i made a type putting in my secondary email. See my secondary email is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and i have access to this, but my parental account email is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, which simply doesn't exist. So i can't fill out the recovery questionnaire
    and i can't see any verification emails sent there... because it doesn't exist.

    Is there anything i can do? Or do i lose 5 years worth of game progress, 21k+ gamerscore, 10 months of XBL gold and $200-$300 worth of downloaded content because of a dumb emil issue? I mean i turned 18 about 6 months ago, why do i even need parental permission?

    I was never aware of ever being a "child" account or a secondary account. One day I have Xbox live Silver and could change settings whenever I wanted without a prompt for a parental account password, then I decide to get gold and then suddenly I am a "child"

    So let's start at the beginning, when you tried to edit the Online Safety settings, it asked for a WLID and password? Are you currently on a child account, or a Secondary account on a Family Plan? This prompt isn't asking for your WLID/password, but that
    of the Parent Account.

    I think the parents should loss this case. If I made a account for my little ***. I make a child account. And password protect my account from them buying some crap my account.

    Can't accept Terms of Use due to certain complications...Elaboration within.

    GO to accounts.live.com. Under the password option click on I can't access my account. Click on I forgot my password.

    Then reset my password. Enter the parents email and then the fill in the security box on the bottom of the screen. Try to answer the secret question or see if there is a secondary email on the options that Isn't your fathers and that you have access to.
    If neither of those work. click on contact customer support and fill out the form and wait for an answer.

    ***THERE IS NO WAY FOR XBOX SUPPORT TO CHANGE THE PARENT ACCOUNT***

    Xbox is part of a SERVICE for Windows Live and that is all there assosiations.

    So there is no way to completely remove parental controls from secondary accounts without removing a tag from the family? Can a secondary account be promoted to a primary account?
