Parental account

Hello,

I will explain my problem.

When I started playing on xbox and created my account I was still only about 16 (At this moment I am almost 23). Therefor a parent account had to be added.

This parent account was from my dad, but some time after that he started using a new e-mail adress.

At this point I tried to play again, after not using my xbox360 for quite a while and I have to accept the new terms of use (Already did the updates which were necessary).

But in order to accept these new terms of use, I have to log in with the parent account, of which we can't get the password anymore.

We tried to change the password via microsoft a while ago, but this didn't result in anything.

My question now:

Is there some way how I can remove this parent account all together? Since I am well over the legal limit in my country (18).

Could I send some e-mail somewhere explaining my situation and having that person/organisation remove the parent account?

I build up a number of save games on which I want to continue now, so I don't want to create a new account and 'throw' this one away.

Unable to add son to xbox one

As above,

Select child
Sign in as parent
get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it

Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

 

Setting up accounts for family members

Unfortunately each account needs to be signed in; however you can always let him play on a guest account instead. You can set parental controls on a guest account as well; we actually have a guide for it here: Guest Restrictions

 

I think your best bet would be to call phone support. Explain what has happened. They will ask some questions to verify that you are the owner of the account, and should be able to help you get things sorted out. 800-4MY-XBOX for the US and Canada.
