  1. Parental Account Problems?

Hi, I had sent a post like this before but it may have gotten deleted I still have a problem with my parental account as the account itself is
incorrect. the account is misspelled but it exists so it became my parental account. I don't know the password as both accounts real and the misspelled one are from yahoo. I don't know what to do since I don't have access to the misspelled one
since it is someone else is account. I hope there is any way to remove the misspelled one and replace it with the real one other than making a new one because of the progress on this account.

Ps. The misspelled one exists on yahoo but is not mine but I need the password to replace it with the real one

    :)

Unfortunately each account needs to be signed in; however you can always let him play on a guest account instead. You can set parental controls on a guest account as well; we actually have a guide for it here: Guest Restrictions

    Parental Account Problems?

Unless you have access to that account there is nothing much you can do.

My suggestion would be to contact xbox support and provide the data required: (800) 469-9269 if you're in the US/Canada or

    Parent account problem

You have the parental email addresse written down, right? If not, go to the Xbox and try to accept the Terms of Use and it will be shown to you.

    1) Take that to
    http://account.live.com/password/reset
    for the password reset

    2) If you can't reset it, go to
    http://account.live.com/acsr
SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU

    3) If that fails, contact Support (1-800-4MY-XBOX Option 2 in the US et Canada) and provide them with the Console ID number from
Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in Step 3, and submit a Password Reset Request. However, it is faster to have the Agent call you by going to

    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:6:3
(and if you're not in the US, replace that with your country code, e.g., CA for Canada).

    parent account problem

Hey there ASIM! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

If you're 23 it sounds like you need to promote your account to an adult account (like Nicki suggested). However, since you aren't sure which account is designated as the parent account,
the next course of action would be to use the
    Contact Us
page to set up a support call with an account specialist who will be able to go through your options with you.

Let us know if you have any questions. =)

    Problem with Parent Account

    Hey there Biohazard,

Really sorry to hear you're having issues with your parent account.

If you're getting a message that the account doesn't exist, I would definitely recommend contacting our
Phone Support team. They'll be best equipped to look into your account with your and work on getting things sorted out.

Please keep us posted on how everything goes.

Hey there Vash! If the email and password for the Parent Account is no longer accessible, I suggest you
contact us directly via chat or phone and the agents there can try to assist you in recovering it. Give that a go and let us know what you find out, thanks!
