    Parental Account isn't mine. Help.


    I've been encountering a big issue. I've recently got currency to spend on XBOX for such games, and add ons. As I go to buy a add on for Forza Horizon 2, it says my I can't download purchases, so I'd need to change privacy settings. As I go to the
    privacy settings, it says my 'Parental Account' would only be able to change this purchase setting. Yet the thing is, none of my family knows this account. My mom's email is
    [Mod Removed] and the one that's under this 'Fake Parental Account' is
    [Mod Removed]. My mom had this account, as she hardly remembered, but she never made it associated with XBOX. We have no access to this email
    [Mod Removed], and it's under the Gamertag Invader9902. My whole family, can't get into neither the Gamertag or email, to get rid of this fake parental account. It is restricting me from using my currency I just got from Gamestop.
    I don't know if this is a hack, or what not. Please help me, and remove this as my parental account for . Thanks.

    Unable to add son to xbox one

    As above,

    Select child
    Sign in as parent
    get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
    Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

    Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

    Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it Parental Account isn't mine. Help. :(

    Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

    Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

    changing a child account to a normal account

    i would like to know also, my account is a child account and i created a parental one so i could have mine and i deleted the parental account from my xbox and then i gave it away and my account still has the parental one connected to it so if someone could
    please help that would be great!!

    Sorry to hear it. However, I would suggest that the 9902 in the parental account is not a coincidence. Do you think it might be possible that the account was created a similar gamertag by yourself or someone in your family so you could remember it?

    Either way you can try following the instructions at the link below to change the password associated with that account.

    That's not the parent associated with your account. The parent listed on your account will need to sign in with their Microsoft account email." i might be entering the wrong account.

    When i tried to add an account to Xbox one, the password prompt doesnt show up and goes back to home

    There might be parental restrictions keeping you from signing on. I would reach out to a parent or guardian for assistance, not that I don't think you're capable, but to check that there isn't a parent account that would need to change account settings
    or authorize the login, as
    there are settings that could be the issue.

    Basically if the child account isn't showing on that menu, either it isn't the correct parent account you are checking on, or something is wrong. Have you checked your other accounts to see if one of them is the parent?
