Parent needs help

Hi, could someone help a parent out on a couple of issues I'm having and after searching the internet for ages and making a lot of mistakes from not getting the correct info!

What we have: Xbox 360 and now the Christmas present of an Xbox one. I now also have Xbox Gold on my own parent gamer profile.

Question 1: my kids have there own profiles on the 360, how can I get these to transfer onto the Xbox one? I read somewhere that you can save the profiles onto a USB stick, which I did but can't load these into the Xbox one. Was also told that I could do
this with Gold membership, but don't know how to enable family Gold on the xbox360 so they can then login with them on the Xbox one. Then read that you could use cloud storage but can't same the profiles into the cloud!

Question 2: I had a small USB stick connected to the 360 I then installed a bigger USB stick, so I have some data on one and some data on the other, how can I get all the data onto the bigger one and get rid of the small one. Can I just connect them to a
computer and copy the files across?

I'm really struggling, so please help!

Random Parent Added Need Help

I'm having the exact same issue. I went to go buy battlefield 4 and then I got a message saying I wasn't authorized to buy content. I go into my setting and see that my child account info cannot be changed with just the email and password of the parents
account like on the 360. Anyone have a fix for this?

Question 1: You cannot transfer profiles to the One via USB. As long as they are Live accounts, you can just sign into the One with their login information and it will move the profile over. Sign In to Xbox Live on Your Xbox One.
If they are offline accounts they will not have login information and cannot be transferred.

Question 2: Xbox files are not meant to be seen via PC so moving the data to a computer can corrupt the data. Just plug the bigger flash drive into the console at the same time and move the files over using the storage section of the console's settings.

You'll need to call support to get help with the passcode. They may even be able to remove the credit card from your account and credit you the remaining time for live service as a credit card can only be removed by cancelling the live account

I think you are referring to the 4 digit code you can apply to an account to allow the use of that account.

To resolve this you just need to simply recover the account to the console and the 4 digit code will no longer apply

At that time you can then set the code up again.

Go to your account settings here https://account.microsoft.com/family/ , add your child then you will be able to control what you want on his account.

Hello,

Factory settings would be basically formatting your XBOX 360's hard drive.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Select the storage device that you want to rename, and then press Y on your controller.

Select Format. You will see the following message:

This will delete all content on this device. Do you wish to continue?

Select Yes to format the storage device.

If you are asked to enter your console serial number, do so, and then select Done. This step helps to guard against accidental formatting.

The console serial number is located on the back of the console and behind the oval door on the front of the console.
