    I am trying to set up xbox live profiles for my sons. I can log in with their microsoft account and click on create xbox profile. From there it asks me for parental consent. I enter my (the parent) email and that's where i'm stuck. it won't let me past
    that page. I've updated all info in theirs and my accounts. I've chatted with support online all to no avail. Please help.

    Hello,

    I have this problem, today I wanted to change my region to United States, everything was good when a term use condition appear, I accept the condition but then it ask for my parent approval. And Im confused, Im elder enough, I born in 1989.

    Why is require the parent approval if Im an adult? Time ago I used de family pack of 12 months, I dont know if this affect in something.

    I need help because I can access to xbox live.

    i know the email and password for my parents account but i type it in and it just sais "PARENTAL APPROVAL REQUIRED The parent credentials provided are incorrect. Please enter the correct parent Windows Live ID to continue"

    but if i type in something different (say the email and password for another account) it tells me that either the password or email is wrong. so it knows the first email and pword is correct it just doessnt go to the next page

    Same problem for me too. Followed the suggested checks from the x-box site and checked settings of both mine and daughters account but it still doesn't work. Very,very frustrated.

    Go to the Xbox and try to accept the Terms of Use or change your password and it will be shown to you.

    1) Take that to
    http://account.live.com/password/reset     for the password reset

    2) If you can't reset it, go to
    http://account.live.com/acsr     SAVE THE EMAILS SENT TO YOU

    3) If that fails, contact Support (1-800-4MY-XBOX Option 2 in the US et Canada) and provide them with the Console ID number from Settings | System | Console Settings | System Info (it's on the 2nd line) and the reference number from the email sent to you in
    Step 2, and submit a UE Request. However, it is faster to have the Agent call you by going to
