Parent Acct Issue, Glitch, Signin Unavilable

Hello,

My daughter has been trying to login for days now to her xbox live account. It tells her that:

"Your parent's Microsoft account isn't valid. Your parent need to choose a different account to manage your Xbox profile. For more info, please visit
www.xbox.com/fixid."

Then it give her (me) the option to "Change Parent Microsoft Account". So, I select that option. Then I follow the prompts to add my email address and password. I then select "SignIn".

The screen changes and asks me to verify my info. The date of birth, etc. is correct, so I select "Continue".

It then says "Do you want to change the parent Microsoft account associated with this profile? It shows my email address again, and I select "Continue".

Then it asks me to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement. I select "Accept".

It moves through the motions as if it is working, then a screen pops up that says ""Xbox Live signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

I have also tried to complete this task online. Support FAQs says to login to the child's account and change the info there. But when I log into her account it says "Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system."

She then appears logged out, but when I click on any of the top tabs to go to a different section of the website, I can go there, and it shows her gamertag and info in the upper right-hand of the web page. But, when I try to go to her account or profile,
I get the "glitch" error again.

Is there anyone who can please help? She really wants to go back to playing online this weekend, and we're coming to almost a week that this has been going on, and wasting time on her Gold membership that she is not getting to use.

Xbox Live Connection Issue

been exact same here, no xbox live... cant remove acct bcuz cant signin.... duh!

You can leave the family at anytime, and if your acct has a DOB of 18+ you will be an adult acct.

If you are a child acct, you will have to have an adult (parental acct) attached to you UNTIL the DOB reaches 18+ AND the parent promotes you to an adult acct.
