Pandora black screen after a few songs

I sent a help request to Pandora support. They asked for my xbox OS version which is:

6.2.11797.0 (xb_rel_1411.141124-1759) fre

They didn't have any other suggestions, but they told me that they notified the engineers.

 

Same for me.... when I try to use my voice, the select menu pops up for what looks like one of those xbox commercials they decided to throw in. I think there's a glitch in that transition somewhere...if I select 'Item 2' when I say Play, it plays the next
song that's probably behind the black screen... Hope they fix this, somewhat frustrating.

 

I am having the same problem as everyone else here. The app worked great up until a few days ago, would be great to see Xbox fix this issue! Awesome app but cannot recommend it in this broken state.

I have no solutions other than I reported it to Pandora Support in hopes that if enough of us send the same complaint that the developers will put a higher priority on resolving the bug.

Same here. However, I am currently on song 5 in a row running it in snap mode. I have it on the right side and so far so good. Make that 6 in a row.

 

Same problem here. It occurs to me that I haven't seen an advertisement in a while either. I'm wondering if it tries to play an ad after a file songs, fails, then just gets stuck at a black screen.

I'm not a Pandora One subscriber, so I wonder if anyone who gets the service without ads sees this problem.

I have the same issue too 2-3 songs, black screen. Fix the app, Pandora!

 

+1 Just installed the Pandora app, played good for a few songs, then it went black and had to quit it from the home screen. Please fix.

Same problem here. Called xbox for them to tell me its not on there end. Told me to contact pandora.

 

Hey, everyone! I'm very sorry to see that the Pandora App is giving you a black screen after a few songs! Hopefully these troubleshooting steps help you out.

• Remove the app by highlighting, pressing the Menu button and selecting Manage game.
  
• Hold the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts off.
• Turn on the console again.
• Install the app once more.

If this doesn't help you out, you will definitely want to reach out to
Pandora Support. This is the best avenue for you to get support on this issue.

Hopefully the uninstalling works for you! Keep us in the loop of what Pandora says if it doesn't.
