PAL UK GAME works in US ?

Discus and support PAL UK GAME works in US ? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I ordered a Game UK limited edition just to get the steelcase.     PAL UK GAME works in US ?


    I ordered a Game UK limited edition just to get the steelcase. Low and behold the disc work here as well in the US. I was told it WOULD NOT work here by Xbox support.

    Who can explain why it does AND as well why the UK version is almost 1.5 gigs smaller than the US version.

    So far everything seems to work, even my Halo channel and unlocking avatars for watching nighfall

    US to UK move...which power supply?

    If you buy UK Games they won't work in your US Console. Our games uses PAL on our PAL Consoles. If you want to play Uk Games then you will have to buy a Xbox 360 in the UK.

    Hi sorry no a UK game will not play on a console in the US, as the UK Games are pal and the US games are NTSC which means if your console was brought in the US wont play PAL Games.

    Just for clarification. I'm in the UK using a pal Xbox one with pal 360 game discs that don't install.

    So I'd have to import ntsc discs (if they are region free) to install disc games.

    Or should my pal discs work in my pal console?

    Disc is in the wrong region

    Usually consoles and games in the US are made for NTSC and in the UK they are coded for PAL. Unless the disc is region free, NTSC discs will only work on a NTSC console and PAL will only work on PAL.

    It sounds like the disc you got is not region free, so it will not work on your console.

    If it is PAL version which I believe the UK use also it will work fine. Games in the US however are a different version and will not work on Australian systems.
