Pal/Ntsc

My xbox 360 console runs (PAL) games is there any way to make it run (NTSC) games ?

yes darksouls is PAL and NTSC specific so downloading a NTSC content from the US wont work on a PAL console (found on the back of your console)

there is no alternative

pal/ntsc content is based on the region of the account since PAL isn't needed in NTSC regions

 

Region Free games - import from US to UK?

NTSC and PAL are video formats, a now commonly used method of enforcing region locking.

So NTSC and PAL are not relevant to xb1 because it doesn't support them.

 

So far as I know consoles that run a specific type of game (PAL or NTSC) cannot be changed to run the other. If you live in a PAL region you would need to purchase an NTSC system.

 

Some NTSC games however do work on a Pal Xbox 360. I know because I have 1 (Lego Harry Potter 2). try doing a Bing or google search for the NTSC games that will work on a Pal system.

I just want to add that PAL and NTSC aren't the only things that will determine if a game will run on the console, you will also need to take the DVD region into account, since games can be regionally locked too.

Neither of those limitations can't be changed on the console since they are determined by hardware. So any regionally locked game may not work on that console.

 

This error message appears when i run NTSC game

"Disc's region code is incorrect for this console"

 

That means that the disc is only meant for a specific region (country) and cannot be played on a console from a different country.
