pairing problems

my xbox 360 headset will not stay paired with my slim, they will pair with out the controller, but when the controller is added , my headset then moves to channel 2 making it un usable

Hey there, what headset is it? you may want to check the manufacturer's site for troubleshooting.

Strange I never heard this. Maybe either your sons put you log in info there profile. They put there in your profile. Or it a honest to god glitch.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is my adapter's pairing button doesn't work, and I have a new controller to be paired. I wonder if there is a way to bypass the button for pairing, like using software put the adapter into pairing mode.

I don't know what you mean by motherboard, the motherboard I'm talking about is the motherboard of the adapter, and I find the pairing button on motherboard is broken.

hi, this problem has been happening for years. is there an actual way to keep this paired without having to re-pair everytime i charge it?

One thing you could check, As I was having the same problem is to,

sign in to the same google/youtube account on both the xbox one and your pc or tablet before pairing

then the pairing should stay

if you don't its only a temp pair
