Pairing Astro A50 to Xbox One S

Since the Xbox One S has Bluetooth capability, is it possible to pair a Bluetooth headset (Astro A50) to it? So far I get in game sound but no mic.

The headset works perfectly on my Playstation 4.

One Update to support optical DD 7.1

According to Astro's website the a40's and a50's have the ability to process the stereo output from the Xbox one into 5.1 or 7.1. I have the Astro a50's and they seem to be processing the signal to 5.1 like the astro website stated. They also recommended
to have the 7.1 button turned on.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the Astro A50's are platform specific so a pair that's for using with the PS4 will not work with the Xbox One. I could be mistaken on that so your best bet would be to head over to >>Astro

Thank you for your reply. According to the box they came in and the website, my headset is PS4, Xbox, and PC compatible. The Xbox 360 and first One didn't have Bluetooth which meant the A50 needed to connect using an adapter that plugged into the controller.
I had hoped since the One S had Bluetooth the headset would work as it does on my PS4. I finding that it doesn't which is a bit disappointing. I find myself regretting the purchase of the One S.

About time. I purchased the chat adapter. I will be picking up a pair of astro a50's tomorrow.
