  1. Paired xbox one wireless controller to Xbox console, want to pair that to my windows 10

    Hi Microsoft,

So I have an Xbox One S with two wireless Xbox One Controllers already paired to it. But I recently got a Windows 10 PC and I want to pair one of the controllers to my PC. But I don't how to do that. When I turn my controller on, with a usb connected from
the controller to the pc, my Xbox console turns on. How do I pair my wireless controller, that is already paired with my console, to the PC? Do I have to disconnect the controller from the console (and if so, why)? Please answer this for me and thank you Microsoft.
    Have a good day guys.

    :)

  2. Xbox One S Controller Wont stay paired to PC

Hey my PC for some reason wont connect to the Xbox one S controller I just got via Bluetooth

    Here is what happens:

    - Says controller ready to pair

    - Asks for password (just click next)

    - Says "Connected"

    - Then says "Paired"

    - After that, the controller keeps blinking as if still in pairing mode

    - Then in Bluetooth Devices it says "Xbox Wireless Controller Ready to Pair" again!

And then the process repeats itself.

It connects when I use a USB cord but the cord is too short to use comfortably.

I have fully updated windows 10. And it the Bluetooth adapter can connect to my other devices. Any Suggestions?

    Xbox One wireless adapter question

Hello all, had a question about the new Xbox One wireless adapter for Windows 10. If I'm using my normal Xbox One controller and pairing with the adapter to use on my PC, do I have to re-pair it back with my Xbox One every time I want to switch from playing
something on PC to my Xbox?

    Thanks!

  5. When I plug the USB into my controller then into the PC, the controller vibrates and I'm able to turn it on. But my PC doesn't tell me that the controller is plugged in. And Xbox Accessories says that I need to plug in a controller, but it is plugged
in. So I don't know what is going on. Have you guys ever had this type of problem posted before? If yes please let me know how it was solved. Thank you.

Hey GustyIsCrusty! Are you able to update the drivers at all or does the computer not recognize that the controller is connected. If it does not show a device or unidentified device in the Device Manager, you should try a different cable as the PC is most
likely not detecting it. If possible, post up some screenshots of what you're seeing so we can take a look. Thanks!

  7. Yes the PC wasn't detecting the controller because I was using the wrong USB. It turns out that I need to buy a specific USB in order for the PC to detect the controller and for me to use it on the PC. I need to buy it because I don't have that type of USB.
The USB that I was using was one that charged and/or powered the controller so I could use it for my Xbox console only. I tried all of my USBs that I have, none worked. It wasn't my PC or my console, it was the USB. And all the drivers are updated. I tried
everything you said, but it didn't work. XBox One Controller on PC

    Hi guys,

I was able to sync my xbox one controller to my Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth, however when I go to turn it on now to play a game on PC, it powers on my XBox. Any way around this or do I need to have a separate controller for each platform?
You would either need a seperate controller for the PC not synced to the xbox, or just live with the pairing. If you pair your controller with the USB wireless dongle it would force the pair to the dongle instead of the console. But then you would be require
to re-pair the controller to the console when you wanted to use it there as well.
