Pair an XBOX360 wireless controller with XBOX360 after it has paired with Xbox One

I have an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One. I purchased the Elite wireless controller to use with the Xbox One and an Xbox 360 wireless controller to use with my Xbox 360. For a brief period, it all worked as it should. Then for some reason, my Xbox 360 wireless
controller paired with my Xbox One and I can't get it back to the Xbox 360. I have done quite a lot of searching and can't find this exact situation. I have tried plugging the Xbox 360 controller into my Win 10 PC using a USB cable. It did not work. I unplugged
my Xbox One (otherwise it would power on) and went through the pairing procedure to try to pair my Xbox 360 controller with my Xbox 360 and it just times out without pairing. I plugged the Xbox 360 controller into the Xbox 360 (front and back) but it did not
work. I would like to get my Xbox 360 controller paired with my Xbox 360 and keep it there. Thanks.

Thanks for coming to the forums. You definitely have an odd situation here. Want you to try something see if it works. Would like you to take the batteries out completely. Let is sit for an hour. This will reset it. Also, does the light come on at all when
you plug it in via a cable to the 360 console? If still unable to get it working, we suggest requesting a call from support. As they can pull up specific information regarding your account.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Looking at the guide it says thus:

"The Xbox Wireless Controller that comes with Xbox Series X|S includes a feature that allows for quickly switching between a paired Bluetooth device and an Xbox console or a PC using Xbox Wireless. If the controller is connected to a Bluetooth device, double-press the Pair button and the controller will immediately switch its connection to the last Xbox Wireless connection it was paired to. Then, to switch back to the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Pair button to start pairing mode".

This only works between a the controller paired to a PC with Bluetooth or another PC or Xbox paired via the proprietary 'Xbox Wireless' protocol. So, if you're using an Xbox Adaptor on your laptop and also own an Xbox you can only pair it to one of them. If you want to quickly swap between console and PC you'll have to use Bluetooth on the PC.

It's the same issue you'd get if you owned two consoles, you can only pair a controller to one console.

Power on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button .

Press the controller bind button for three seconds and release.

On your PC, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth so it can discover Bluetooth devices.

Select Xbox Wireless Controller > Pair.

After completing all of those steps, it still asks you for a passcode after clicking Pair?

So long as its paired correctly through the Xbox Game Streaming App, then yes, the Elite and Elite Series 2 controllers should both work on a mobile device via Bluetooth and wireless pairing on Android.

My Xbox Wireless Controller won't connect to my Bluetooth at all but it connects by USB to my computer, it also flashes when I click the pairing button and my Bluetooth is turned on, whenever I go to the pair devices and try to pair the Xbox controller
it doesn't show up. Is there a way I can reset the controller without the console?

Its suppose to flash when pairing also what are you trying to pair it to
