Paid version of Solitaire Collection showing ads

We bought the Microsoft Solitaire Collection over a year ago.

    Never have seen any ads.

As of this morning, June 8, we're having to watch long video ads after each game

The app says that we "own this game", thus we shouldn't get these obnoxious ads.

We tried to reinstall it, but that didn't work.

    Anybody know what's up?

    Thanks for any insight.

    :)

I suggest that you uninstall the game, then install it again. If that does not help then I suggest that you reach out to support via chat or by requesting a call back: https://support.xbox.com/

Hello did you check and make sure that its not a subscriptions that you have to buy yearly?

**Windows 10 comes with the Microsoft Solitaire Collection, a solitaire game
that requires you to watch 30-second-long full-screen video advertisements to keep playing. Ad-free solitaire costs $1.49 per month or
$9.99 per year. That’s $20 per year if you want both ad-free solitaire and ad-free minesweeper.
    But there’s a better way.**

anyone else getting a lot of adware when playing the games?

In what games? I see ads on the Solitaire collection as I don't have the premium version, it is annoying but I guess it is how things are now

Can't play the game as ads keep repeating....

The Solitaire Collection ran just fine yesterday. It showed the ad, you viewed the ad, then used the "X" in the top right corner, which brought you back to the solitaire game you were trying to play. Today, after the ad runs, it automatically takes you
to the Microsoft store. When you exit the store it brings you back to the solitaire game but runs another ad, then brings you to the Microsoft store. This happens repeatedly and you can't get past the ad to play the game. I'm wondering if the free version
of these games is going to not longer be available, or if MS is planning to fix this issue.
