    If you bought a digital code from a retailer, you would need to contact their customer support about getting the code.

    If you bought the game from Xbox, it would have been a digital purchase and it would already be tied to your account. In order to purchase a game for your son, you would either need to buy it on his account or purchase it as a gift in order to send it as
    a code. If this was the case, you can request a refund and then re-purchase the game on his account or if you set their console
