Paid for Xbox live gold but can’t join party s or talk

Yes, idk if it's broken or something but I can join parties on both xbox's, I looked it up and you need xbox live gold to start and join parties. The Series S has only my account, and my account has my series S as my home xbox, and I can still join parties and talk(I'm in one right now in fact).

Hey Resolved! Are you perhaps talking about the Entertainment Unlocked Gold weekend? This Gold weekend is specifically for entertainment applications and not for all of Xbox LIVE which is why you aren't able to join parties, if you would like to you will
need to purchase Xbox LIVE Gold.
