Paid for the year xbox live, just a month later he was gone

It was all digital, he sent it via live, said he paid 65 and it was a year. So a year of gold gets 6 months of game pass ultimate?

It's simple you're not allowed, If you had a subscription (not a pre-paid code) they block free codes until you've paid... reason being he's likely got a few weeks gold without paying - and they're going to retrieve that money. Happened to me one time,
ended up renewing the year (and losing the time played for free) - I think that's their plan. Long gone are the days a sub ran out and you got months of free LIVE.

My stepson has had the same issue, he bought pre paid gold 12 months saw the £1 upgrade for the month and he has now lost 11 months of gold live its now been a month later it still not back on. He finally told me the other day to see if i could help, so
i tried to call .....No xbox live calls due to covid no email directly anywhere to be found and no help.

i called Microsoft and you have people on phones for “product registration” yea you can find staff for new business!

So how can he get his gold back on that he has paid for?

you have to legally respect the contract that he entererd into with you and Xbox has failed its customers here with no customer service or help.

The deal is advertised on my xbox i paid the £1 no problem for 3 months it was clear that i was only to he paying the £1 or i wouldn't have gone through with it, it was only a couple of hours later that the extra payment came out of my account i can cancel the £1 subscription but it doesnt show the £10.99 payment to cancel which is why i think its weird or a scam
