    Paid for 12mo live account but saying not active profile when trying to play games


    I created a Microsoft account for my son and added it to my Xbox and I even paid for Xbox Live. PayPal says money has been deducted but when I log into his profile and click on the games to play it is saying that the profile is not active. I've checked
    the scription through the website and the console both says it's active but the console is not allowing him to play like it is. I have reset my router I have reset the console I have removed his profile re-added the profile and I can't get nowhere with xbox.com
    support because they're not taking phone calls right now. It's been a whole 24 hours since I made the purchase and it's still not active. Can somebody please help me?

    Xbox Live Gold Past Due

    Xbox Live Gold subscription time can't be paid with your Microsoft balance, as far as I know.

    You will either need a prepaid code (1, 3, 6, 12mo), or some payment method (debit/credit, paypal, etc).

    I need Xbox live gold to play ONLINE minecraft but I have Xbox live?

    Paid games like minecraft requires an active live gold subscription.

    If you don't have one active you're not going to be able to play online with others, at the moment the only way to do it without having a subscription is when you enable home Xbox on a account that currently has it

    Please check that with the person you said owns the subscription and verify if home Xbox is enabled for their profile in your console by performing the procedures I shared in my first comment
