    At the end of last month my Live subscription was due for renewal but I wanted to changed to the monthly subscription rather than the yearly (moneys a little tight right now) so I used the modify subscription option to change to a monthly plan. When I turned
    the 360 on again a couple of days ago I was greeted with a message telling me that there had been a problem with my auto renewal and to check my payment method. I did this and it confirmed the purchase of the monthly subscription and went through as usual.
    I didn't think anything of this until I went to the bank 2 days ago and discovered that I've also been charged for a 12 month subscription. On the 360 it says that I only have a 1 month plan active. I have tried the support lines to talk to the people who
    deal with billing issues but I have just had SIX phone calls in a row where I can hear them chatting and sometimes laughing and then the call is hung up at the other end. The only time I managed to talk to someone after that they told me that there was no
    record of my account or email address and then just hung up on me again. I have had a gold account for years now. I would like an email address or other contact method to deal with this as this is getting beyond a joke and quite frankly the treatment I've
    had is just plain rude. I did also try the chat option again but got given the same 'support' number. I have thankfully never had an issue with Microsoft or the Live service before and like to think that such a large business would not make it so hard to
    resolve a problem when one occurs. I still look forward to using my XBOX and the gold service in the future, I'm just at a loss right now as how I'm supposed to deal with this issue :\

    Xbox live gold not working

    I have auto renewal for my xbox live gold memebership and i was charged for a 12 month subscription in april and the last time i was on xbox live was late august and it worked just fine but when i logged in today it says i have xbox live free and i dont
    understand how an already paid 12 month subscription isnt working anymore

    i bought the wrong subscription. What do i do?

    i accidently purchased a 12 month subscription when i meant to buy a 1 month subscription. how do i stop the purchase? am i suppose to cancel my subscription andwill i not be charged ?

    I'm sorry that you've experienced this. Unfortunately your only recourse here is to deal with phone support as they are the only ones who can deal with billing issues. Please try again at 1-800-469-9269 if you live in North America or arrange a call back

  5. While I did verify Onyx for his answer as that is the only way that you can get this sorted, I did want to stop in and let you know one thing. The system may say Gold 1 Month, however there should be an end date that will let you know when it's really ending.
    So, say you bought a 1 Month and then bought 12 Months after, it would say 1 Month because the 12 Month "attached" itself to that 1. Be sure to check out your end date here on the website.

    Additionally, if your account was set to auto-renew, but you didn't have any funds on whatever payment method you have, that may have just gone through. That happens when you add a new payment method. The system is supposed to switch over to that to make sure
    the payment for the Gold time used is paid for.

    While I did verify Onyx for his answer as that is the only way that you can get this sorted, I did want to stop in and let you know one thing. The system may say Gold 1 Month, however there should be an end date that will let you know when it's really ending.

    Change abonnement from 1 m to 1 y

    If you add a 12 month subscription you wont be charged again until that subscription ends next year.

    It will add 12 months onto the one month you already have.

    The 1:1 ratio for upgrading Core to ultimate has ended. The current ratio is 3:2 so you would not get a full 36 months if you add 3 12 month subscriptions.

    Also the $1 promotion is typically only available for new subscribers so you may be charged the full price for Ultimate.
